How to get to Geneva
By plane
Several airlines, including EasyJet, fly direct to Geneva.
There are frequent trains from the airport which all stop at Gare Cornavin, Geneva’s main station. The journey takes 7 minutes and brings you within 300 metres of the hotel.
By train
You can comfortably travel to Switzerland by train. Swiss trains run like clockwork! Geneva has excellent connections with Europe’s major cities. Check the Swiss Railway company website for more information (www.sbb.ch).
Free public
transport
For the full duration of your stay, you will have FREE unlimited access to the Geneva public transport network, including train, tram, bus and mouettes boats.
If you are staying at the Hotel Royal Manhotel, we will email you a link to download your free Geneva Transport Card on your smartphone three days before your arrival so you will be able to use it to reach your accommodation from the airport.
If you choose to stay at an alternate hotel or Air Bnb, please ask them if they can provide you with a free transport card.
Covid Situation
There are currently no entry restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. No proof of vaccination, recovery or testing is required for entry into Switzerland.

Remember to bring an adaptor with you, Switzerland uses Type J (3-pin) plugs.
If your device has an Europlug (Type C 2-pin plug) it won’t be necessary.
